“Pond Skaters” is inspired by fleeting motion across the surface of water. Soft pastel tones form a luminous background, while energetic marks of orange, red, and black dart across the canvas like quick steps of insects skimming a pond.
Through layered color and gestural linework, I explore balance and impermanence — how fragments coexist in tension yet form harmony. The work reflects on the joy of transience, echoing the small but significant dances that ripple through nature and life. Pond Skaters is both playful and meditative, celebrating movement suspended in stillness.
