City Walls Palimpsest” explores the layered language of urban walls as living archives. Newspapers, stencils, graffiti tags, and abstract motifs overlap, creating a dense surface where messages clash and coexist. Like a palimpsest, traces of the past remain even as new marks cover them.
The work reflects how cities hold memory — voices of protest, hope, and identity pressed into concrete and paper alike. Words emerge amid chaos, suggesting resilience and continuity. Through collage and spray paint, I aim to capture the fragile, fleeting, yet enduring stories that urban surfaces carry, reminding us that walls, like cities, never forget.
