In Mon Amour, I explore the intimacy and immediacy of human connection through my ongoing fusion of street art energy and contemporary expressionism. Using bold, stencilled layers of pink, cyan, and black, I wanted to capture a fleeting, almost cinematic moment of union — a collision between individuality and shared emotion.

The title Mon Amour speaks to the idea of singular elements that come together to form a greater whole, echoing both the chemistry of attachment and the architecture of memory itself. Within the broader Mon Amour Sequence, this painting continues my exploration of how personal encounters, urban texture, and colour psychology intertwine to reveal the quiet intensity of connection.

I particularly wanted this canvas to be simple and two dimensional, so that the message of union floats to the top
