In this piece, I wanted to merge the emotional intimacy of love with the visual language of the street. Mon Amour 2 is deliberately loud in colour and graphic in form, because affection itself can be unapologetic — a graffiti mark across the quiet wall of daily life. The turquoise and pink tones, speak to both tenderness and defiance. My stencil work here lets me construct emotion in layers, much like the city itself — built, erased, rebuilt, and always alive. Love, for me, isn’t polished; it’s painted over concrete, it’s raw and real.
