Marilyn - A Touch of Pink

In this work, I fused the iconography of pop culture with the instinct of the animal. For me, Marilyn - A Touch of Pink, represents liberation from expectation — how the mythic image of glamour can transform into something fierce and autonomous. The panther’s snarl and Marilyn’s laughter share the same rhythm: both declare presence, both demand to be seen. By using black, white, and hot pink, I aimed to make the emotion vibrate — a visual scream that celebrates power in its raw, unapologetic form.

Should you ask the question, “why is she painting a panther“? My answer is plain, Because she can!
